RED CUP SPECIAL

Red Cup Special is a mediacast/podcast hosted by John Thorpe and Mike E. The show host chat about important topics such as pop culture, sports, music politics, and many other things while drinking (often but not always) alcohol out of a red cup with a guest.

The show based out of Alamance County started in 2020 when the pandemic hit North Carolina. The then three (John Thorpe, Mike E, and Tez) hosts started talking to people in their community via Zoom and decided to record. The show ended after one season even though it averaged 1.9 streams a week.

Due to scheduling conflicts co-host Tez left the show but still makes appearances.
